Here are common reasons why you may be getting an error when sending a message such as Not Delivered:
Network issue: Check your internet connection, and disable any VPNs, ad blockers, and proxies. Slow connections may result in the message not being sent. If you're using school Wi-Fi, it may be due to your school's firewall or content filtering. Try using a mobile hotspot instead.
โServer error: Our server may have run into a problem generating a response to your message. Try resending your message, starting a new conversation, or trying again later. If the issue persists, contact us using the chat widget at the bottom right corner of the screen or email us at [email protected].
โHigh traffic: We may be experiencing high traffic, and your request may have timed out. To resolve this, wait a couple minutes, then resend your message.
โRate limit exceeded: To prevent spam or misuse, we sometimes temporarily block requests from users who send messages too quickly. Slow down, wait a couple minutes, then resend your message.
โInappropriate message: Messages that violate our policies or safety standards will be blocked. Repeated misuse of Chat may result in your access being disabled, or your entire Studyable account being suspended.
